SONNET NO 8 (A Sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines)

There's snow on the roof tops,
There's snow on the ground,
Some rabbits on the hop,
But no birds to be found,
Black is smoke from the chimney,
White is snow all around,
Pale and dull everything you see,
No color can be found,
North of North America,
Is Alberta in Calgary,
Where houses and roads look alike,
You'll find snow on every tree,
                                                                                    To LIME-VILLA come and holiday,
You will forget the Hudson Bay.
