SONNET NO 26 (A Sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines)

What is life but memory,
Sweet sour and bitter,
We keep them all in a treasury,
From the start the babysitter,

Sometimes we think and smile,
When we are all alone,
It gives some pleasure for a while,
Till we hear the ring of a phone,

Then back to our life,
Of daily strife,
We move mechanically,
Back to reality,

Put a stop to work one day,
And go for a short holiday.
