It was eleven o clock at night, i was waiting for my guests to return from a shopping spree. I was walking up and down the basket-ball court and imagining all the weird things that can happen to people who have very little knowledge of the city and the language.
The city of Varanasi is famous for many things,Paan,Sarees,ancient monuments,the ghats,the river Ganges,Indian sweets, and last of all and most important,are the 'Banarsi Thugs' (the cheaters) So i thought they were in trouble, and i was worried.
Suddenly there was a ckick sound and it was the gate opening,-------they had returned home safely.
A cycle ricksha stood there and the American couple stepped down.They were happy with their shopping and said they were approximately an hour in the cycle ricksha,
They were embarrased to ask for food at that late hour, but finally asked me for some dinner if it was possible. Then i made fresh parathas and vegetable and within half an hour they ate and then went to bed.
AS A HOST IT WAS VERY SATISFYING TO SEE MY GUESTS SAFE AND BACK HOME HAPPY IN LIME-VILLA.
