"GILLOY" IS AN INDIAN HERB.It is a creeper,and a parasite too. It is known and a generally tested belief that a Gilloy plant found on a Neem tree is full of healing virtues and cures and heals faster than any creeping on other trees.
Usually the thick stems are cut and crushed,then boiled for drinking. Drinking this daily controls endless health issues like bone pain,blood pressure,diabeties,increase of immunity etc.

 Food eaten in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Traditionally  "BAATI CHOKHA" It is

made of wheat whole flour kneaded and stuffed with gram-flour and roasted on coals till cooked ,these are called baati. Chokha is the mashed potato,tomato,and brinjal with garlic,green chilli and green corriender. These are eaten with ghee.

We often have groups visiting lime villa in winter.The groups are small numbers of eight and ten.and sometimes as many as 25 boys and girls.We provide meals and tours and transport too.Boating and Cruises also are arranged for them.
Sarnath is a full day trip,starting at eight a.m. after breakfast and returning at six p.m.There is lots to see and experience there besides the main temple.On the Sarnath day lunch is usually the north indian traditional food--"BAATI-CHOKHA" eaten off leaves and

earthern bowls.

 This is a village near Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh,where we took our friends to see the sugar-cane fields.and the making of jaggery. We had lunch in a village house sitting on a wooden bed called a "takhat"

We have a classical music program every year in February.   This year we had the 46th "DHRUPAD MELA" It lasts five days.Musicians are invited to perform from various parts of the country.                 Every evening people gather there to sit and enjoy the enchanting melodies of different Indian classical art.                                                                                 Everyone sits through-out the night ,having a hot coffee from time to time.
